Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B combines a highly absorbent hydropolymer matrix with a bacteria-binding Sorbact mesh (Sorbact acetate fabric coated with dialkylcarbamoylchloride –DACC) and is covered by a semipermeable polyurethane film.
The fixation border is made of a latex free adhesive hydrogel. Since it is hydroactive, highly absorbent and has also bacteria-binding properties it can be used for exudate management and as bacteria-binding wound dressing for clean, contaminated,colonised or infected wounds.
