Based on the hydrophobic interactions and without the use of chemical substances, germs from the wound are bound and inactivated. The special coating with dialkyl carbamoyl chloride (DACC) gives the foam dressing strong hydrophobic properties. With each dressing change, the germ number is reduced and optimal conditions are created for the natural wound healing process. At the same time, the foam body and the integrated super absorbers ensure vertical absorption of the exudate. The highly breathable film reduces the risk of maceration in moderately to highly exuding wounds. The skin-friendly silicone adhesive edge ensures a gentle fixation and an atraumatic dressing change.
