Delta-Cast® Elite is a non-fiberglass casting tape with elastic, knitted polyester substrate. The product consists of a knitted substrate impregnated with a polyurethane resin. Delta-Cast® Elite casting tape is intended for external rigid immobilization through casting and/or splinting procedures.
Delta-Cast Elite has been designed with ease of application and patient comfort in mind. This fibreglass-free casting material combines strength and rigidity with soft edges for enhanced patient comfort. Delta-Cast Elite has a patented polyester substrate featuring extensible yarns that easily shape to body contours, providing enhanced moulding capabilities.
Environmentally friendly Delta-Cast Elite produces less dust during cast removal. The resin formulation allows for application using standard examination gloves, while also providing consistent unrolling tension and secure lamination. Sold in a box of 10 Rolls. New Delta-Lite Plus, Delta-Cast Elite and Delta-Dry water resistant casting products launched by BSN assist patients in continuing normal routines at home and at work without having to worry about keeping their cast dry.
